RipShout is a program designed to read MP3 Shoutcast audio streams, coming from on-line radio broadcasts, and rip the song files separately, with metadata (ID3 tags) included. While you record, RipShout can replay the songs internally, or even add them to a
Winamp playlist.
RipShout is a free tool that has no spyware nor publicity, and during the recording it only needs 3MB of RAM memory. Via RipShout you can open a stream in three ways;
1 Clicking on the Shoutcast link on the webpage of the on-line radio broadcast.
2 Manually copying that Shoutcast link, and pasting it into the corresponding RipShout text box. Then just click on ´Rip Music´.
3 Saving the Shoutcast link to your hard drive as a .pls, then opening it with RipShout.
NOTE: For RipShout to work correctly you need
Microsoft .NET Framework installed on your PC.
